The JUST Consultancy services are based on two decades of extensive professional expertise and practical experience in urban development and delivery of Green City strategies, concepts and projects, in Europe, Asia and Australia.
Through the experience of working for multiple municipalities across different geographies I realized how much I enjoy working with people and for people. The ability to listen is an important part of my consultancy style. It inspires an inclusive approach to co-creation, to develop – together – practical, realistic and lasting solutions.
The desire to do meaningful work motivated me to open my consultancy company where I can focus on projects that bring positive change to cities, their residents and environment.
I can do things YOU cannot, you can do things I cannot. TOGETHER we can do GREAT things

JUST Consultancy was created by Jolanta Zarzycka to bring a practical and useful approach to Green City transition – to city planners, international agencies and programs, and companies focused on green development.
Jolanta is a PhD Urban Planner and Landscape Architect, engineer and experienced project leader, with 25 years’ experience in advising executive teams and city planners on how they can deliver integrated urban development and a transition to Green Cities.
Through her international experience she is specialized in strategic urban development, town planning, the transition to carbon-neutral cities, project integration and management.
She has led technical coordination of many large, complex, regional and municipal urban projects. This is a Green City approach that integrates multiple urban sectors and mobilizes Nature Based Solutions to address today’s urban challenges of climate resilience and city decarbonization. Her expertise includes facilitating stakeholder engagement for clear communication between urban authorities and planners and communities; and effective project and contract management.
Jolanta Zarzycka is a member of ISOCARP – International Society of City and Regional Planners, a member of Ro3kvit Urban Coalition for Ukraine; a volunteer for Energy Assistance, a non-profit association providing technical support to humanitarian projects serving communities worldwide with little or no access to energy; and a volunteer for the Belgian Red Cross.
